Mariette Himes Gomez

aunched in 1975, Gomez Associates is known for very livable rooms notable for their simplicity, clean lines and clear architectural definition. Mariette's work has been widely published in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, The New York Times and Town and Country. Named as one of the House Beautiful Giants of Design in 2004, she was honored again in 2005 as a Dean of American Design by Architectural Digest magazine.

Since 1992, Mariette Himes Gomez has designed and manufactured furniture. Her retail shop in New York City opened April 2001 and is an important resource in the design community. In 2002, she introduced a line of furniture; "The Mariette Himes Gomez collection" for The Hickory Chair Company is available in stores throughout the country and in THE SHOP.
